Technical Officers – Expanding Adelaide or Melbourne locations

About the Role - Technical Officer

Babcock has a number of Technical Officer positions in our expanding Defence business with positions available in both Adelaide and Melbourne. We currently have ADF contracts for C-CBRNE and GSE with potentially new roles available to support engineer support platforms, weapons and in our growing aviation business.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in a similar technical client supporting environment ideally gained within a defence environment (C-CBRNE experience ideal but not required)
  • Cert 3 or 4 within Electronics, Communications or an aligned technician qualification
  • An understanding of electrical and/or mechanical engineering work  instructions
  • Successfully completed the MILIS Maintenance Work Order Administration course
