Supply Chain Team Leader

We currently have an engaging and newly created opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Supply Chain Team Leader to join our high performing Land team based in our state of the art Australasian Headquarters in the Adelaide CBD. This role will lead a small team and provide holistic support across the Australian Land sector contracts
In order to succeed in this role, you will be able to:
Support the National Supply Chain Manager for Land
Negotiate terms and conditions for sub-contracts
To become a key user in the supply chain domains of the Babcock ERP and client system
Build our part nomenclature process across land contracts
Full inventory ownership for all applicable contracts
Support on all new projects and provide leadership where applicable
Business management system process audit and review
Analytics, supplier due diligence and reporting for Land sector
Implement, develop and improve the tool kit for the supply chain environment
Ensure sufficient resources are applied to supply chain activities
Ensure on time reporting is adhered to for all required clients within the land business
Manage and improve the stock take process and procedures for applicable land contracts
Improve efficiency through the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives as per internal processes
Babcock are seeking an experienced and energetic supply chain professional that has a proven record of accomplishment and development within a complex technical environment and will have supporting tertiary level qualifications within an associated discipline. Additionally, you will be a confident team player that has a passion for identifying and driving change and enjoys working within a team environment. You will possess demonstrable leadership experience coupled with an ability to prioritise, plan and organise your workload and timeframes with a strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will have high level understanding of all supply chain disciplines and have a strong understanding of data analytics and assessment.
