 We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Controls Coordinator to join our high performing team based in our Babcock Marine facility at Henderson

Reporting to the WA Operations Manager this position will lead the support of the Operations and Project Managers ensuring the initiation, execution and closeout of the projects are aligned to the business monitoring and control methodology. Additionally it will responsible for leading the coordination of all project reporting and supporting analysis is delivered within required timeframes

 

The key accountabilities for this position will include but not be limited to:

  • Lead the interfacing with other Project Controls members and Project Managers to maintain project forecasts and coordinate budget allocation on a weekly/monthly basis;

  • Coordinate and assist in the order recognition and invoicing process within IFS and with the Finance team;

  • Develop and maintain program baselines and create sufficient project metrics to ensure resource availability and that projects are delivered on time and on budget to the agreed scope;

  • Coordinate the internal reviews and produce weekly labour, monthly dashboard/milestone CPR and support the Project Manager to generate the quarterly QCR project reports;

  • Support the development and costing review of sales proposals and quotations in response to customer requests for quotation as required;

  • Maintain a continuous improvement ethos to support improved operational efficiency and customer value;

  • Support the business in the coordination and development of the Risk Management Processes and business critical operational tools;

  • Monitor and analyse project and business metrics and process and continually assess potential improvement initiatives; and

  • Other duties, appropriate to the position as requested.

 About You

This role will align with a suitably qualified Senior Project Controls Coordinator that has demonstrable experience in a complex engineering or defence environment and has align project financial reporting understanding. You will be a confident team player and possess exceptional leadership, time management and organisational skills coupled with an ability toprioritise, plan and organise yourworkload with a strong attention to detail. In order to be successful within this position you will require an ability to communicate and foster relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and with teams across all levels of the business.
