Project Manager - Asset Management Improvement

This role is for a project manager to drive two transformation projects within the Babcock Asset Management team. Firstly is the iSupport project to develop an industry leading digitally enabled asset management solution in support of delivering asset management services to the Royal New Zealand Navy. The iSupport solution will be developed in concert with the information systems team at Babcock UK, with this role leading a data analyst to provide co-ordination of New Zealand requirements and assessment and cleansing of the New Zealand datasets to ensure that the final iSupport product is fit for purpose for the Royal New Zealand Navy.
The second project is leading the certification activity of the Babcock asset management system against ISO 55001, international standard for asset management. This will involve engagement with a certifying authority and a stakeholders within the asset management team and wider Babcock and Naval logistics organisation to identify and fill gaps in the current management system to ensure the certification standards are met.
Both projects will require engagement with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of the business and naval organisation.
Previous experience in maintenance management, maritime or naval systems and asset management is preferred but not essential. You will need to have interpersonal skills that allow you to comfortably and successfully communicate with all types of people, from all sectors and levels of the organisation.
