Project/Management Accountant - Part time 0.6 FTE

We currently have an exciting and newly created part time (0.6 FTE) opportunity for a suitably qualified Project/ Management Accountant to join our high performing finance team based in our Osborne facility.
The Project/Management Accountant position will provide financial duties and reporting support across different contracts within the Marine Australia finance team as required
In order to succeed in this role, you will be able to:
- Assist the Marine Australia finance team in preparation of quarterly forecasts
- Preparation of monthly invoicing and analysis of associated data
- Supporting contract teams in financial reporting and analysis of on-going and ad-hoc projects
- Preparation and processing of month-end activities, including drafting accounting journals
- Ad-hoc duties to support the Marine finance team as required and as commensurate with experience
This role will align with an experienced professional that has a proven record of accomplishment of delivery within a complex environment. You will have supporting degree level qualifications, be working towards your CA or CPA and have an excellent interpersonal, communications and stakeholder’s engagement skillset. Additionally you will be a confident team player that has a passion for identifying and driving change and enjoys working within a team environment but can also work autonomously as required. You will have exceptional time management and organisational experience coupled with an ability to prioritise, plan and organise your workload and timeframes with a strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will have excellent excel skills and have a working knowledge of AASB 15
