Babcock has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated People & Culture Advisor to join our growing team based at our Head Office in Adelaide.
As the People and Culture Advisor, you will be a key contributor to the delivery of a wide range of high-quality People and Culture services across the Babcock Australasia business. You will be responsible for applying your well-developed P&C coordination skills to ensure that quality service and support is delivered to People and Culture and our customers. Additionally, this role will see you assisting with the implementation of P&C initiatives and programs while delivering high-quality services to all internal and external stakeholders.
As the successful candidate, you will bring demonstrated skills and experience in the following areas:
Operational experience across the employee lifecycle (hire to retire) and P&C annual processes;
Facilitating and administering relevant activities within the recruitment, selection and on-boarding processes;
Providing guidance and support to employees and ensuring compliance with all P&C policies and procedures;
Delivering timely and accurate first level advice to managers on a range of issues;
Proactively contributing to building a high-performing culture through employee engagement initiatives;
Supporting the implementation, maintenance and training of P&C systems and reporting requirements;
Performing administrative support including preparation of contracts of employment, amendments, maintenance of employment files, probation records;
An interest, or experience in the implementation and administration HR tools and technology.
The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified within an associated field and have proven experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Friendly in your approach and with great communication skills, building rapport and strong customer relationships comes naturally to you. You will have exceptional time management skills as well as the ability to prioritise, plan and organise your workload and timeframes to ensure that deadlines are met. Finally, your professional behaviour and committed work ethic will demonstrate your ability to consistently achieve high standards with utmost integrity.
