Career Opportunity – B2 Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME)

As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be instrumental to supporting the maintenance of Babcock’s fleet of AW139 helicopters. You will have the opportunity to work at our Essendon base and report into the Senior Engineer AV, which will enable you to support the efforts of our Mission Critical Services for Ambulance Victoria.

About You

This role is suitable for candidates who are seeking a long term opportunity that will enable them to take a step away from rotating rosters by working Monday to Friday standard working hours; with occasional on call requirements. Ideally, you will have the following experience:

  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Mechanical Aeroskills or equivalent

  • B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License with limited exclusions

  • B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License with AW139 type rating (an equal time roster may be considered)

  • Demonstrated ability to manage aircraft support/role equipment and advantage

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders

  • The ability to work as part of a team with flexibility and a positive attitude
