Account Manager

We are currently seeking a senior level Account Managers to join our growing Defence asset management operations across Melbourne and Adelaide. This exciting and newly created represents a fantastic opportunity to join a business that has a wealth of experience and an ability to scale and adapt our centralised systems, processes and tools to deliver reliable, agile solutions for our industry business partners.

The Account Manager is responsible for providing leadership, direction, supervision and inspirational management to all internal and external stakeholders and ensure a high-quality solution is delivered which meets customers' expectations and complies with contractual obligations whilst achieving the business unit profit targets.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Drive the achievement of the contract objectives to provide value to associated business units and clients

  • Development of strong business partnerships and customer relationships at all levels, both internal and external.

  • Ensure the performance and the effectiveness of all assets is monitored, measured, analysed, evaluated and audited.

  • Ensure that the delivery model is resourced effectively from both a systematic and personal perspective

  • Managing the integrated set of management plans to ensure they achieve a balance of risk, cost and performance.

  • Ensure implementation and process plans are reviewed and controlled, including any activities that are outsourced.

  • Ensure non-conformities or incidents with respect to the assets or asset management are documented, evaluated, and corrective action are taken.

  • Accomplish tasks with an awareness of Health and Safety concerning themselves and others in their environment.

  • Generating innovative solutions to overcome project problems and deliver opportunities to improve.

  • Provide day-to-day input with the greater team ensuring technical and engineering compliance when delivering large scale and specialist projects across the business.

  • Provide holistic leadership and input into continuous improvement activities

  • Report asset management performance against budget and SLAs

  • Ensure that customer service delivery is maintained at the optimum level.


Applicants holding a current baseline Defence security clearance are preferred, although those eligible for baseline clearance may also be considered.  NV1 clearance would be highly advantageous.
