About the Role
The Phase-In Manager is a senior manager responsible for the successful project phase-in delivery of the contractual requirements in accordance with a schedule of work.
They will work closely with the Support Services Manager in establishing a close and collaborative relationship with all internal and external stakeholders. Additionally they will be responsible for developing and leading a multi-disciplinary team to embed cultures, attitudes, processes and tools whilst ensuring these align to the existing HSE and quality systems and requirements.
Key responsibilities are as follows:
Establish and maintain enduring relationships across the customer Enterprise;
Build the organisational structure with the necessary levels of authority and responsibility;
Lead and manage phase-in personnel within the team;
Own the quality, safety and timeliness of phase in services;
Execute the approved phase-in plan, meeting all outcomes;
Facilitate and drive the transfer of data, in order to establish an accurate and viable Technical Data Baseline;
Ensure delivery of all documentation and management plans required by the contract;
Work with Functional Heads to develop processes and procedures with particular focus on the selection criteria to identify and engage key suppliers;
Manage all risk during phase in appropriately whilst ensuring appropriate governance is maintained and that all enterprise stakeholders are engaged as appropriate in the efforts of risk mitigation;
Provide leadership, direction, and motivational management to all team members (direct & indirect) to set-up productive relationships that meet or exceed customer expectations;
Ensure all stakeholders (key & otherwise) are engaged & considered to deliver ‘Best for Program’ outcomes across the Enterprise.
Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications within an associated field and possess extensive experience in a field relevant to the sustainment of Naval Assets. You will have proven experience in successfully managing the delivery of a program or project of significant value and complexity. Additionally you will have a working knowledge of Asset Management best practice and will be a strong collaborator able to navigate complexity and deliver results within a matrix environment.
The successful candidate must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
