We currently have an exciting newly created and full time permanent opportunity for an experienced and professional ILS Engineer to join our high performing team in Osborne.

About the Role

Reporting to the Engineering Team Lead this role will be responsible to deliver logistics support and governance for Babcock engineering projects by effective execution of supportability activities.

The roles responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following areas:

  • Develop materiel logistics strategies and plans that support project activities;

  • Lead the Supportability aspects of the project;

  • Perform required Logistic Support Analysis, including:

  • Life Cycle Cost modelling;

  • Training Needs Analysis;

  • Maintenance Task Analysis;

  • FMECA;

  • RCM Analysis;

  • Development and technical authoring of Maintenance Task Procedures and Operating Procedures

  • Attend Customer Support Working Groups;

  • Attend and participate in internal and customer project design reviews.

  • Understanding of the full Systems Engineering lifecycle and common guiding standards;

About You

This role will align with an experienced ILS Engineer that has high level experience in the application of Logistic Support Analysis and Integrated Logistic Support principles within complex programs in the Defence sector. You will be degree qualified in an associated discipline and have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills and have experience in large scale projects involving multi-disciplinary engineering teams.  Additionally you will be a confident team player that has a passion for identifying and driving change and enjoys working within a team environment but can also work autonomously as required. You will have exceptional time management and organisational experience coupled with an ability to prioritise, plan and organise your work load and timeframes with a strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will have high level computer skills and have a proven ability to adapt and learn new systems and processes quickly. Familiarity with defence procurement and inventory systems would be advantages

Successful candidate must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
