Commercial Administrator

Naval Ship Management (NSM) is a Joint Venture between Babcock and UGL and currently has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Commercial Administrator to join the NSM based in Rockingham, Western Australia.

About the Role

The Commercial Administrator has a key role in delivering contract management for the Warship Asset Management Alliance (WAMA). Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Contracts Administrator will:

  • Prepare and review proposals and variations to the contract.

  • Prepare, review, and issue Tasking Statements (which enable work to proceed under the WAMA).

  • Provide contractual guidance to stakeholders.

  • Track and report on variations and Tasking Statements.

  • Support the Commercial Manager, provide reporting and carry out general contract administration duties.

 

Key Attributes

  • Approximately 3-5 years’ experience in contract administration (either procurement or supply)

  • Excellent attention to detail, and advanced MS Excel skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders at all levels

  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload in a fluid and dynamic environment
